About

The Life House is a community and social action project that aims to strengthen our community together. We provide a range of services to support our local community and those who are part of it.

So far, the Life House’s services include our food bank, clothes bank, drop-in lounge, crisis support service, budgeting course, vocational experience programmes, youth work and counselling centre. Our children’s services are collectively called the Lighthouse, which includes our parents’ and toddlers’ group, children’s club, free school uniform initiative, crèche and Sunday school, as well as our forthcoming day-care nursery and out-of-school club.

Location

The Life House is located in three different buildings that are all a short distance from each other:

• The Life House’s Health and Wellbeing Centre is at 2 - 6 Frederick Road.

• The Lighthouse Children’s Services are based at 916 Bristol Road

• Our sponsor, Christian Life Church, operates from 900 Bristol Road.
